Volleyball, gymnastics, football and the Sports Tasman Awards have been the focus of our sports column this week, showcasing some great individual talent and team efforts.
Gymnastics
Congratulations to Logan Mosey Reid who gained a spot on the podium at the XP NZ Gymnastics Championships in Palmerston North. He won the level 6 all around, and placed 2nd in floor, 3rd in vault and 1st h bar in apparatus finals.
Volleyball Camp Selection
Congratulations to Year 12 students Briana Barber, Lucia Banks and Nevaeha Neho on their selection into the below National Junior Women’s Volleyball teams.

Sport Tasman Nominees
The Sports Tasman Award nominees have been announced and we’d like to say a big congratulations to all our Nayland students nominated. The winners will be announced on Friday 6 December at the Sport Tasman 2024 Sport + Recreation Awards.

U19 National Youth Tournament – Football
¹ú²úÂ鶹¾«Æ· had four students (Levi Tijsen, Lennon Gallagher, Charlie Martin Hine, and Jack Barlow) head to Napier with the Nelson Suburbs U19 Football team for the annual Labour Weekend tournament. The boys came away with 1 win, 1 draw and 3 losses.
