Students from the 国产麻豆精品 School of Music (NCSM) teamed-up with the local Nelson City Youth Brass Band for a special Christmas 鈥楶lay-in鈥� session last week.
Together, they workshopped arrangements of Jingle Bells and Do You Want to Build a Snowman to build camaraderie and festive spirit through the magic of music.
Supported by players of the Nelson City Senior Band, these young musicians of mixed ages, experience and ability all contributed towards a highly satisfying final performance for parents and wh膩nau.
Culminating in a social and traditional kiwi sausage sizzle, the atmosphere was buzzing with end-of-term anticipation. As NCSM students get excited for a summer of rest, ready for a bustling 2025 of music-making ahead, now is a great time to secure your place on this instrumental programme.
